Sales Administrator

**Salary**: £28,000 - £32,000
Location: Knottingley
Edwards and Pearce are working with a market leading manufacturing business to recruit an interim Sales Administrator to cover Maternity leave. This is a challenging and complex office based role, providing regular contact with customers and other functionswithin the business, to ensure all our customers receive an excellent level of service.
THE ROLE:
The main role of the Sales Administrator is to support the Sales Team in executing the sales process through the procurement and processing of various services, and solutions through the relevant systems. Attention to detail, along with accuracy of data inputinto internal systems along with a polite and helpful attitude are also essential requirement for the role.
Responsibilities in this role will include inputting of customer orders, contracts, forecasts and price files into the SAP system. You will also carry out administrative procedures within the sales department, such as processing invoices and credit requests.
Supporting the National Account Managers, you will also look after customer enquiries and will monitor and control new product development requirements liaising with internal and external customers, product design and manufacturing.
THE CANDIDATE:
Required skills / qualifications:
Strong administration skills
Be customer focused
Be able to manage multiple tasks
Have excellent communication and influencing skills
A high level of Excel proficiency (including pivot tables etc)
SAP system experience preferred but not essential
