**Head Florist** to join our Floristry Team, Wild Burnet.

**Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role**:

- Managing and supporting our team of florists through the daily operation, creating an environment where their personal development is also paramount
- Planning and organising, with the highest level of detail, for all our scheduled and ad hoc departmental needs and demands across the estate
- Owning and controlling the departmental budget through efficient and supremely organised ordering and payment processing
- Professionally and confidently managing enquiries for events including meeting with our clients, putting together mood boards and design elements for presentation to ensure that we can deliver every intricate and bespoke request
- Creating a range of outstanding displays to budget across the hotel and wider estate, working closely with an array of our departments and fulfilling their requirements; bouquets, plants, displays, photoshoots and much more, all at a fast, exhilarating pace
- Assisting with driving our company delivery van, lifting and organising flower orders within the local area; making sure our operation runs without a hitch, that our orders and deliveries are efficient, our diverse Floristry service is smooth
- Working to tight deadlines, managing several sometimes conflicting priorities, with huge pride and professionalism
- Collaborating with your Floristry team, supporting each other and working closely together on specific projects
- Researching current trends globally, always knowing what’s new and exciting in the world of Floristry, interpreting this and adding your own ideas and twist for Gleneagles
- Building strong working relationships with our suppliers, achieving the most competitive pricing, ensuring our orders and deliveries are their priority and that they fully appreciate our non-negotiable standards of excellence
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

**The kind of person we're looking for**:

- You have at least 5 years’ Floristry experience, working as part of a team in a retail or workshop environment, ideally with a knowledge of interior plants, you also have supervisory or managerial responsibility. You hold a Full UK Driving licence
- Passionate about all things floral, with a natural eye for detail and creative flair, you’re also not afraid to get your hands dirty and you always lead by example
- Driven and determined, you’ll ensure Wild Burnett succeeds and achieves year on year growth and profitability
- Committed, driven and inspired, you’re willing and able to adapt to all sort of scenarios and thinking on your feet is second nature to you
