Off Site Accommodation Coordinator

This is an opportunity to take on a brand new role, supporting University of Plymouth Students by developing and managing a range of off site residential options which both enhance the study experience and support the goals of the University in future recruitment.

Based on the Plymouth campus, you will have responsibility for existing accommodation in Truro, Torbay and Taunton as well as seeking new opportunities and partnerships to increase capacity, and developing new initiatives for a diverse range of students studying in Plymouth, seeking accommodation outside traditional halls settings.
- In addition to the specific duties in the Job Description you will be an integral part of the wider Accommodation Team
- Excellent administration skills will be required including the ability to produce high quality written reports and correspondence, and to collect and report data in various formats as requested, sometimes to short deadlines
- Based on campus with travel as required to locations within the region, you will also contribute to University wide events such as clearing, arrivals and recruitment events - managing time flexibly as required sometimes outside traditional office hours

You will:

- Already be working in a housing context with some experience of the challenges facing students and the local market.
- Be experienced in developing leads and relationships, and acquiring and assimilating relevant knowledge rapidly.
- Be confident making decisions as necessary within the agreed context and/or researching and providing recommendations for senior decision makers.

You should enjoy varied work and have some experience of prioritising conflicting tasks and deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a perment basis.

A current full driving licence and willingness to travel is essential/desirable as you will be required to travel to remote areas not easily accessible by public transport.
