Company Description

PS is the largest co-packer in the UK, working with some of the best-known food brands to provide cost-effective and innovative co-packing, co-filling and co-manufacturing solutions.

Shift: Monday - Friday.

**Salary**: £32,000 per annum.

**Job Description**:
Responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Co-Pack Operation through the communication and delivery of established goals and objectives. While maintaining effective work processes, this position will also be responsible for the development of employees while monitoring their overall performance. This position also has functional responsibility for productivity, KPI’s, maintaining the daily operations whilst identifying and driving improvements. Willingness to be flexible to working various shift patterns to support the business.
- Supervise daily work assignments and follow up on the delivery of the expected performance results
- Schedule the correct number of staff by shift to ensure production goals are met within the budgeted cost structure
- Set up work and staff for the next shift to ensure a seamless transition.
- Complete shift handovers to ensure the effective communication of relevant information to all employees
- Assign and follow up with operators and production staff on the length of time required for tasks.
- Monitor schedules and liaise with the immediate Manager, IPS Client and site Warehouse management.
- Hold Line Leaders accountable for ensuring proper co-packing procedures are followed
- Flag priority orders and revise schedules to meet outbound orders.
- Place orders/maintain component stock levels to coincide with production schedules.
- Ensure customer specific requirements are met.

**Qualifications**:

- Five (5) years production and or contract-packing experience (Some 3PL experience would be advantageous)
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience (preferably in FMCG or contract-packing industries)
- PC literate on Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP MRP system (Would be an advantageous)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
