We are recruiting for **Support Workers** for two services in the **Gilmerton area of Edinburgh**. In these services, you will support vulnerable adults to live independently in their own homes.

We provide a wide range of person-centred support, guided by the desires and choices of the people supported. Every day in social care is different, so you might support with community activities, shopping, attending activities or appointments, going to the cinema, going shopping, visiting family, cooking, cleaning and many other things

Some of the people we support have mobility issues, so there will be support required to help them get around, support with personal care and to administer medication. Your main goal will be to provide the right support so they can be as independent as possible and are supported to make their own choices.

We would love to hear from enthusiastic applicants who are interested in developing new skills. If you have a **full UK driving license** that’s a bonus, but not essential, as the ladies in one service have a shared mobility vehicle which they use to get out and about.

Our team provide support 24/7, so we are looking for flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends.

We are currently recruiting for**:

- **2 x 20 hour posts (female-only staff - no nights required)**
**- 1 x 10 hour post **(one waking night shift per week - the day of the shift will vary)**
