**Job Title: IT Procurement Specialist**

**Salary : Up to £45K**

**Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract**

**Location : Glasgow Based/ Hybrid**

Pertemps are delighted to be working with a Glasgow based company committed to delivering exceptional solutions to their clients. As they embark on a transformative journey, we are seeking a talented and experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join their team and play a key role in the crucial transition project.

**Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Sourcing**: Identify, evaluate, and select vendors that align with project requirements and organizational goals.**Contract Negotiation**: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.**Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.**Risk Management**: Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a smooth transition.**Cost Management**: Monitor and control procurement budgets, providing regular updates and reports to project stakeholders.**Compliance**: Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.**Continuous Improvement**: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the procurement function.**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Professional qualification or relevant level of experience in a senior procurement role.**Experience**: Experience of and expertise in public sector procurement Scotland is preferred but not essential.**Technical Skills**: Familiarity with IT products and services, knowledge of procurement software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.**Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.**Analytical Skills**: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.**Team Player**: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture.**Adaptability**: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.This role is being managed by Rachael Brooks at Pertemps.
