Senior Lab Analyst

Senior Lab Analyst/Supervisor with extensive LC-MS/MS experience responsible for analytical testing and leading the team on technical expertise for quality, instrumentation and productivity.

Innovative DNA, drug and alcohol testing laboratory who operate to the highest of standards (ISO17025 accredited) and have pioneered a new method of best practice specifically designed for testing in the Family Courts (Based in Mirfield)

**Description**

As a successful Senior Lab Analyst / Supervisor you will:

- Perform appropriate technical laboratory procedures supported by on-going in-house training in line with the ISO 17025 Standard.
- Work alongside technical instrumentation specialists to ensure that equipment is in suitable working condition.
- Follow Lab SOPs to prepare samples using the relevant processes.
- Quality Control Feedback to ensure consistency with sample extractions.
- Be involved with the continuous improvement of processes.
- Demonstrate techniques to, mentor and plan the workloads of junior Laboratory staff.

**Profile**

To be a Senior Lab Analyst / Supervisor based in Mirfield you will be expected to have/be:

- Extensive experience with LCMS/MS (QTOF and Triple Quad desirable)
- Able to work as part of a team and communicate well
- Line management / supervisory experience
- Experience working in an ISO 17025 environment
- Quality system experience
- Commercial laboratory experience
