**About the role**
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a **Facilities Supervisor** to join our Enabling Functions team based in **Derby.**

Within this role you'll provide Facilities Management support services for our Balfour Beatty Derby Raynesway site and offices. You'll ensure that a first class service is provided to stakeholders based at and visiting the Derby site, this is a busy and exciting role and would suit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with previous experience of working in a similar role in a Corporate Environment.
**What you'll be doing**
The **Facilities Supervisor** will be responsible for:

- Ensuring that the Facilities Assistants rota is in place for main reception, meeting room suite and access control services for the Derby Site and that they operate smoothly at all times, including but not limited to:

- Visitor management, including ensuring that the site rules have been read and understood
Telephone duties, including answering and transferring calls
- Assisting staff and visitors with meeting room bookings
- Issuing ID badges and vehicle permits for permanent Balfour Beatty staff and ensuring that all lists and systems are maintained up to date
- Ensuring that incoming and outgoing mail is dealt with efficiently
- Ensuring that access control (including handovers and takeovers to/from the guarding company) is managed effectively and in accordance with the site security procedure
- Working with the Facilities Manager/PA and Senior Facilities Manager to ensure that the Derby site facilities services are aligned with the wider Balfour Beatty which may involve from time to time communication with other Balfour Beatty offices.
- Managing a rota pattern for the team and managing holiday cover.
- Full line management of 2 direct reports (Facilities Assistants)
- Acting as the site point of contact in the Facilities Manager/PA’s absence
- Provide cover (during annual leave) for both Access Control and the Main Reception operationally
- Ensuring that the meeting room suite and kitchens across the site are well stocked and maintained in an excellent condition including reporting all defects to the wider team and making recommendations for improvement to the Facilities Manager/PA
- The Facilities Supervisor and their team also act as the main point of contact for emergencies at the site
- Carrying out any other duties as required by the Facilities Manager/PA

**Who we're looking for**
Essential**
- Experience in the provision of Front of House services at a Corporate Level
- Management/Supervisory Experience
- The ability to proactively contribute to teamwork and cross functional working
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programmes
- Exceptional customer services skills
- Must be confident in dealing with people at all levels
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good understanding and knowledge of Facilities Management

**Desirable**
- ABIFM
- Security/Access Control experience
- Experience of emergency co-ordination
- Manual Handling Training
