To depollute and remove saleable parts from end of life vehicles.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- To fully depollute end-of-life vehicles safely and efficiently, removing all hazardous waste from each vehicle including draining all fluids & removing batteries, wheels & tyres.
- To check the quality of parts prior to removal
- To safely and efficiently remove various car parts including engines, gearboxes, exterior panels and other sellable parts.
- To maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Ensure machinery and equipment is safe an maintained in working order
- Housekeeping and Yard Operative duties
- As a member of a team, this role will require a degree of flexibility and co-operative working from the post holder

**What skills are needed for this role?**
- Must have previous experience in vehicle mechanics and have access to their own tools
- Level 2 in Vehicle Mechanics preferred but not essential
- Confident in dealing with a wide variety of car makes and models
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Health and Safety conscious
- Previous experience forklift driving is considered an advantage
- To be flexible, at peak times.
- To be able multi task, in other area's of the business, when requested.
- **Own tools are essential.**
