Counterbalance Forklift Driver

**Duties**:

- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Transport goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery trucks.
- Inspect forklifts and perform routine maintenance checks, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Stack and organize products/materials in designated areas following proper inventory procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Valid certification and proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends if required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 1-2 months

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kelso: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Counterbalance Forklift Ticket/Licence (required)
