Are you an enthusiastic and outgoing individual who likes the outdoors? Virgin Balloon Flights is seeking crew members to join our seasonal hot air balloon operation

Locations: County Durham and surrounding areas Season: March to October Base: Bishop Auckland As a key part of our team, you'll be responsible for assisting the pilot during all aspects of a hot air balloon flight. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service are desired.

**Requirements**:

- Manual vehicle driving experience
- Punctual, reliable, and dependable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reasonable physical health
- Ability to work in a small team
- Flexibility due to the ad hoc nature of the role

Desirable:

- 4WD experience
- Trailer towing and reversing experience
- First Aid/Fire qualification
- Map reading skills
- Comfortable with early mornings
- Enjoys the outdoors
- No trailer driving course required after December 16, 2021. Full UK Driving License is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Welcoming passengers professionally
- Driving 4WD vehicles towing trailers
- Assisting with balloon setup and pack up
- Cleaning and maintaining vehicles and equipment
- Refuelling after flight
- Liaising with landowners
- Providing the best possible experience for our passengers

Note: Hours and days vary significantly due to British weather, and availability is required for approximately 80 flights during the flying season.

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: £160.00 per day
