Nursery Assitant

We are currently looking for a qualified and enthusiastic **Level 2 or 3 qualified, Part-Time **nursery assistant to join our happy and friendly team at Little Rosie's Nursery School, in providing the best of care in a home-from-home environment for each individual child.

Little Rosie's Nursery School is a family-run nursery located in Ladbroke Grove that provides Full Day childcare for children aged 18 months to 5 Years of age, in incorporating the Early Years Foundation Stage into our day-to-day nursery lives.

**Part-Time Position (All year round): 25 Hours per Week (Mon - Fri 8.00am to 1.00pm )**

**Your Day at Little Rosie**'s Would Involve**:

- Providing a fun and nourishing learning environment for all children
- Being a key person in planning and assessing each child's development and learning through the new EYFS Framework 2021
- Supporting diversity, equality and inclusion
- Commit to to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
- Adhering to the nursery's policies and procedures, staff code of conduct, Safeguarding and Child Protection policies at all times
- Be alert to issues of safeguarding, ensuring that the welfare and safety of the children and adults is paramount, recording and reporting any concerns to the DSL
- Singing, dancing, story-telling and having lots of fun

**Applicant Requirements**:

- A minimum NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Experience working in childcare
- Knowledge and understanding of the current up to date EYFS Framework
- Good spoken English and writing skills
