An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Assistant to join our amazing team at Meadowbrook Place Care Home, an exceptional, brand new, all-inclusive luxury care home based in Bishops Stortford.

Connaught Care is a brand new, marketing leading company, with twelve homes in development across the South of England. Meadowbrook Place is our fourth home set to open in July 2024. Meadowbrook Care Home | Live a life more extraordinary

**Position**:
**Care Assistant Days & Nights**

**Full Time Contract - alternate weekends**

**£14.00 Per Hour**

Reporting to the Deputy Home Manager, you will be a part of the Senior Leadership Team, and will be leading the home’s Care team, working alongside our Senior Carers and Carers to create an outstanding living experience for our residents each and every day.

**Qualifications/ Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and with different people in a friendly, warm, and professional manner.
- Passion, drive and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and adapt to other levels.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
- To work in line with organisation’s values
- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment and demonstrate empathetic qualities.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in vocational training programmes.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience of working in a care setting
- Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved or working towards)
- Evidence of having undertaken relevant training (i.e., lifting and handling, health and safety, food hygiene etc.
