Trainee Estimator

Trainee Estimator is required by our client who is a successful mechanical engineering company specialising in Sheet Metal & General Fabrication, Laser Cutting, and Powder Coating. Based at their Dudley Site.

This Trainee Estimator position is a great opportunity for someone with experience within the Sheet Metal/ Fabrication industry who is looking to further their career or make a shift into the sales department.

The main focus of the trainee estimator is to quickly learn the systems already in place such as Radquote and Workplan to offer customers accurate estimates on works and goods offered by the company by working closely with the sales team.

**Key Duties**:

- Sourcing information to be able to assist with accurate quotes to customers
- Following up with customers for feedback following quotes sent
- Liaising regularly with the sales team
- Answering any incoming queries and questions
- Keeping in regular contact with customers
- Working and logging all information on Radquote and Workplan computer systems (training will be provided)

**Key Skills Required**:

- Must have working experience within the sheet metal/fabrication industry
- Must have good communication skills across all levels of the business
- Must have attention for detail
- Must be computer literature and have a good understanding of microsoft packages.

Full-time, Permanent Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
