Restaurant Host

The AA Inn of the Year 2021 are recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Host to come and join the team.

Nestled in Sedgefield in the heart of the County Durham, the Impeccable Pig boasts 10 stunning, luxury individually designed bedrooms. The Impeccable Pig delivers one of the best bar, restaurant and hotel experiences on the high street.

Food plays a significant part at the Impeccable Pig, with delicious bistro style food, using fresh locally sourced produce, our aim is to ensure that we delight every guest, every single time, so they come back time and time again.

You are the first impression a guest will have upon arrival so providing a warm, friendly, helpful welcome is vital.

This role will involve welcoming our guests, managing reservations, answering phone calls and general enquiries, bar work, waiting tables, assisting guests with requests and any general duties such as assigned by the management team.

We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast-paced environment, with previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining/bistro restaurant.

You will need excellent time management and communication skills, be able to demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

But most importantly, you will have a passion for customer service, and enjoy providing a memorable service.

Both full time and part time positions will be considered - the role will include evening and weekend working.
