**Forensic Casework Administrator**

Contract type: Permanent

Starting Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 based the office in Wantage.

Forensic Access Ltd is a key player within the UK forensic market and delivers a range of services to many of the UK’s Police forces, Government agencies and solicitors.

The Casework Team provide case review services for Criminal Defence Solicitors covering the full range of forensic disciplines and specialist medical services.

The team are responsible for the administration and management of cases, from the point of enquiry from a legal professional to delivering the expert’s report within agreed deadlines.

All employees must ensure that high quality standards are maintained and help drive continuous improvement. They must also abide by the Forensic Regulator’s Codes of Practice and Conduct and the Forensic Access Code of Conduct.

This is a varied, multi-tasking role with opportunities to develop within a growing organisation.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Taking enquiries from legal professionals and ensuring that their requirements and expectations are fully understood
- Sourcing appropriate experts and obtaining estimates
- Supporting case delivery through regularly communication with legal teams and experts
- Assessment of suitable timeframes for the work requested, managing and meeting suitable and agreed deadlines
- Managing the agreed financial margins and producing appropriately costed quotations for the customer
- Obtaining authorisation from the customer to proceed with the order
- Managing every aspect of case delivery to ensure that customer’s requirements are fully met
- Reviewing expert reports to check and ensure that quality standards have been met
- Relationship building with new and existing customers to develop and grow existing accounts
- Relationship building with experts and supporting the maintenance and growth of the expert database
- Ensuring that all specified information is captured and entered accurately within the company CRM system in a timely manner in accordance with key performance indicators
- Supporting marketing initiatives including attending seminars wherever possible.

**Required Qualifications/ Experience**
- Excellent customer service skills and experience of working in a customer service environment
- Experience of a scientific, legal or Police background would be desirable
- Proven ability in working in a highly organised manner under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and accurately with customers, forensic and medical experts and colleagues to achieve a collective goal
- Ability to manage own workload and time management whilst operating as a team player
- Good knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office
- Ability to always maintain a strict level of confidentiality.

Please note, All employees regardless of job role within the Forensic Access Group, must be cleared to NPPV3 and SC.
