Kennel Hand

**Job description**

Good Dog Academy NI is looking for a Kennel Hand to join our fantastic award winning team. We are looking for a hard-working individual, who is passionate about dogs and has a desire to learn. We are looking for someone who is reliable and responsible.

Duties include (but not limited to):

- Handling dogs of ALL breeds & sizes.
- Exercising & interacting with dogs
- Cleaning indoor centre, individual kennels & runs to a high standard
- Feeding dogs
- Interacting with clients (Pawrents)
- using our kennel software
- Administering medications to dogs
- Bathing dogs
- Managing calendar bookings
- Health checking dogs
- Taking payments
- Adhere to company policies

**Qualifications**
- 18+ Years Old
- 5 GCSE's (minimum)
- Experience working with dogs is preferred, but not essential, as training will be provided
- Good verbal & written English
- Good communication skills
- Confident at working alone
- Understanding of Microsoft Programs
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and be able to work around dogs that may be aggressive.
- Must be comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Must complete a probation period

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.49 per hour
