We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking person to join our yard team at our busy CGreat Sailing, Braintree Branch

The main responsibility of our yard operatives is to deliver brilliant service to our customers whilst supporting with the upkeep of the yard area. To do this they work effectively as part of a team in which they make sure our customers can rely on a timely, friendly, and dependable service.

**Typical Tasks & Activities**

Ensuring that customers are always served politely, promptly, and efficiently.

Ensuring that paperwork and company policies are always used thus actively safeguarding against theft of goods or company property by being security conscious.

Ensure that stock is replenished, rotated, and merchandised safely

Receive and check off deliveries to the branch, highlighting any anomalies

Ensure that the yard is always kept tidy, that stock is clearly identifiable and low stock levels highlighted to branch management where necessary.

Ensure that all plant used is maintained in an appropriate manner and follow all health and safety guidelines.

Assist with picking and loading of company vehicles on an as and when basis.

Work and communicate with other team members to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within company policy.

You may also be asked to to do small deliveries on a transit tipper.

**Skills & Experience**

**Essential**:

- Positive and can-do attitude
- Customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills

**Desirable**:

- Forklift Truck Licence
- Previous experience of Builders merchants
- Driver licence

Monday - Friday 7.00am - 4.30pm/ 7.30am - 5.00pm and alternate Saturdays 7.30-12.00pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
