Multi Skilled Workshop Technician

We are a Lighting Manufacturer who services projects across numerous industries and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a workshop operative to join our team based in Cold Meece near Stone.

The work we undertake is varied and can range from producing one-off large bespoke decorative fittings for Hotels, to large quantities of commercial lights for the Healthcare sector.

As a workshop operative, you will be working throughout all aspects of the project life cycle, from brainstorming ideas regarding design to delivering the completed items to site ready for installation.

Typically, tasks will include;
Assembly

Wiring & Testing

Finishing - Spray Painting / Using Aging Solution / Lacquering etc.

Light machinery work

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hard-working and a strong team player.

As we are small team there may be the occasional need to assist with other parts of the business such as; goods in / out, delivering fittings to site using the company van. Must hold a clean driving licence.

Experience of working with electrics or a relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work:
Full-time Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 with 30 minutes lunch.
