Axiom veterinary laboratories are a busy diagnostic pathology facility servicing a large group of veterinary practices across the country. The laboratory in Newton Abbot is responsible for processing chemistry, endocrinology, haematology, microbiology, immunology and molecular diagnostics.

We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant to join our Saturday team at our Newton Abbot Laboratory. The role will be based in the microbiology department but time in other departments may be required occasionally.

The role would suit somebody looking for an opportunity to gain experience in a busy commercial laboratory and individuals with an interest in biology and/or animal welfare. Good communication and organisational skills in addition to a strong work ethic are essential attributes.

No previous experience is required and full training will be provided on all laboratory procedures.
