Managament Accountant

My client, a Leading Business to Business service is looking for a Management Accountant to join their expanding team. The company has recently been going through a large amount of growth throughout their outlets.
This role will put you at the heart of the business, giving you a great overview of how it works and getting you working closely with teams across the business.
- Supervision of Assistant Accountants, checking that all purchase invoices are processed and VAT is accounted for correctly
- Supervision of Assistant Accountants, checking that all Sales invoices are processed, and correct VAT is applied
- Reporting any transactions that are unexpected or unusual
- Assist with the preparation of monthly group reporting pack
- Ensuring all timesheets are completed and chasing any outstanding
- Calculating & entering time, sub-contractor costs, direct costs etc into cost reports at month end Job profitability analysis
- WIP calculations
- Input payroll data to Accounts
- Preparing Accruals and Prepayments at month end
- Updating Fixed Asset Register and Depreciation
- Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts
- Management Accounts including variance analysis
- Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant
- Strong commercial acumen
- Likes to get hands dirty
- Excellent excel skills - must be able to manipulate large data sources efficiently and accurately
- Able to present financial information to non-financial audience
