Energy Recovery Facilities are vital in supporting the UK’s ambition to reduce waste in an efficient and effective manner, helping to reduce the impact of waste on climate change. After reducing, reusing and recycling as much as possible, our Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs) provide the infrastructure to efficiently recover energy from residual waste, meaning landfill becomes the last resort.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our ERF in Avonmouth for a Weighbridge Operator to join our team, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

**About the role**

Joining our team, the Weighbridge Operator will ensure the safe, compliant, accurate and efficient operation of the site’s weighbridge function. As the initial point of contact for all visitors and site users arriving on site, duties will include managing and controlling access, weighbridge operation, data recording and management, and supporting site traffic management.

You will ensure that all health and safety, and environmental procedures are complied with, and that the facility remains compliant within its environmental and planning requirements. Additional duties will include some general operative duties to support site operations, including cleaning and plant operation.

**What are we looking for?**
- Operational weighbridge experience and previous administration experience, as essential
- Knowledge of the Waste Industry
- Knowledge of administration systems
- A good level of general education to include Maths and English
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision
