**Pertemps Stoke are delighted to be working with our long standing clients who are a leading design and manufacturing company based in Staffordshire.**
A recognised manufacturer of Stainless-Steel Corrugated Hose and Braid, Bellows and Pipe Fabrication. We specialise in the design and manufacture of expansions bellows and complete piping systems for various industries including aerospace, nuclear, military,power generation, automotive, etc.
Due to growth and expansion, we are currently looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team and assist with the continued growth of the business.
**Main tasks included for this TIG Welder role**:

- Liaise with engineers and production staff to ensure drawings and technical requirements are clear.
- Fabricate and weld an array of pipe assemblies, bellows, and sheet metal.
- Inspect welds and ensure standards are maintained.

**For this Skilled TIG Welder role you will be required to be**:

- Experienced in TIG welding to a high standard.
- Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings to relevant industry standards.
- Must be able to fabricate and work to engineering drawings.
- Proficient in fixtures, jigs, cutting, forming, and assembling processes.
- Experience with stainless steel, mild steel and exotic materials including Hastelloy, Duplex, Nimonic, Inconel and other Nickel based alloys.
- Capable of welding 0.5mm thickness to 15mm thickness.
- Practical technical experience
- Fabricator/mechanical diploma/degree plus minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.

**Other Skills the would be beneficial for this Skilled TIG Welder role**:

- Able to read and interpret weld procedures according to both ASME & EN.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and versatile approach to tasks and objectives.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Experienced in using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) would be helpful but not essential.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- The ability to manage a varied workload.
- Organised & motivated.
- Able to plan against deadlines.
- A resilient, pro-active, and positive attitude.

**Education & Experience required for this TIG Welder role**:

- Fabricator/mechanical diploma/degree plus minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties & limitations.
- Strong technical skills
- Organisation skills
