To assist Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiographers and Associate Respiratory Physiologists & Respiratory Physiologists during clinical and clerical procedures and provide support and assistance to patients, parents and hospital staff as required

To ensure the highest possible quality of patient care is maintained at all times in a cost efficient and effective way.

To provide quality education and cardiorespiratory experience for The Apprentice to encourage an interest and develop key skills for working within the National Health Service.

The Apprentice(s) will be trained across Cardiology and Respiratory Physiology. They will be required to support the departments with key duties and responsibilities, alongside working towards completing their certified apprenticeship qualification.

The Apprentice will have a named Cardiology/Respiratory Physiology supervisor/support allocated to them on a daily basis. The apprentice must ensure they report to this person and keep them updated of their progress with their duties and tasks.
