Contract: Temp - Perm / Perm
A distribution company based in Droitwich are searching for a Stock Controller to join their team on a Temporary - Permanent basis working PM shift From Monday - Friday.
The responsibilities for the Stock Controller will be:
Assist the Operations Manager in the day to day operational activities ensuring that all kip’s are achieved in accordance with customer expectations.
Work as part of a team contributing to the efficiency of the operation.
Checking the receipt of the inbound Raw Materials and Packaging and notifying the customer of any discrepancies.
Checking the receipt of all the inbound finished stock received from and notifying the customer of any discrepancies.
Breaking down, identifying, sorting and re-palletising the inbound stock from all Third Party suppliers and again notifying the customer of any discrepancies.
Ensure the products are booked onto the WMS accurately.
Conduct perpetual stock checks
Perform all required stock adjustments in a timely manner, ensuring that any discrepancies are investigated through the reconciliation process and reported to the Operations Manager at the earliest opportunity
Process documentation in an accurate and agreed manner satisfying agreed time constraints.
The requirements for the Stock Controller will be:
Experience of working in a warehouse environment.
Previous experience working as a Material Planner/Stock Controller will be essential
A working knowledge of Health & Safety in a site/warehousing environment
Numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to accurately complete paperwork
The ability to establish effective working relationships with other site personnel
Ensure quality control is maintained.
The role of Stock Controller is on a temporary - permanent basis being paid £11-£14 per hour with the potential of a permanent contract being offered after the completion of a 12-week period.
