Senior Account Executive
Focus 5 Recruitment are working with an exciting PR agency who are looking to expand both there B2B and B2C team.
The company are looking for an experienced Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to support there B2B and B2C teams. The client has been delivering creative effectiveness combining traditional PR, digital communications, and marketing since 2011.
You will report into an Account Manager or Account Director. The Senior Account Executive's primary responsibility is to service clients under the direction of the PR Account Manager, delivering positive PR coverage, but is able to do so with much less managementand direction than an Account Executive
What will you be doing?
- Assists the Account Manager in delivering the PR and social media strategies, with a focus on implementation of tasks, e.g. media lists, writing press releases, selling in, but does this to a high standard with few or no edits or corrections needed
- Lead by example, inspiring other Account Executives to achieve their high standards
- Support Junior Account Executives, helping them to get through their to do lists and delegating small tasks to them
- You will demonstrate the ability to take on more account planning responsibilities, showing awareness of the wider implications of coverage and understanding the need to hit monthly targets
- Manage your own workload thoroughly and effectively, flagging to Account Managers when it looks like things are not going to get done, or if it looks like targets are not going to be met
- Senior Account Executives produce a high standard of work at all times, paying attention to detail and removing the possibility of careless errors
Looking for someone who...
- Minimum of 1-2 years' working experience, preferably in a PR agency environment or in a communication capacity at a corporation or other organization
- Self-motivated team player who is inquisitive
- Strong writer who values accuracy, understands style guides and can create the first draft of news stories, press releases, factsheets, etc.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments while maintaining keen attention to detail
- Understanding of the business and trade media landscape
- Ability to meet deadlines and goals.
- Comfortable joining client calls and drafting meeting minutes
