Infrastructure Engineer - £45,000 - £50,000 - Gloucester - 18% pension - hybrid office/home based
I am seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work for one of Gloucestershire's largest employers on a variety of projects based in Gloucester.
You will have worked extensively with LAN and WANs, and you will also possess skills with various infrastructure technologies. You will ideally have strong knowledge and experience of O365 and Microsoft Azure, and will also have worked extensively with VMwareESXi throughout your recent career. In addition to this, you will be an expert in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange.

The successful Infrastructure Engineer will be capable of working under their own initiative and setting their own workload targets. You will be working as a key member of an infrastructure team of 6 within a wider, structured IT department, so you will havea key role in providing the organisation with a technical road-map moving forward as well as playing a key role in the design of the projects you are working on.

The role itself will suit an individual with strong all round experience of IT infrastructure, particularly on the server side, who is looking to join an established team during an exciting phase of change and transformation for the organisation. You will playa key role in the decision making process across IT. An aptitude for self development and a desire to undertake industry training will also be looked upon favourably.
