SRS Partnership are looking for **Welder/Fabricators** to join their client’s team at their site in Kilmarnock where you will be responsible for welding and fabrication of a wide variety of plant and equipment.

Ideally, we are looking for people with experience of working with material such as mild and stainless steel.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Welding and Fabrication of a wide variety of Plant and Equipment
- You should have experience of working with material such as Mild Steel & Stainless Steel.
- Capable of Surveying and Measuring to meet Client requirements.
- Problem solving, site repairs and installations at customer sites.

**Experience Required**
- Fabrication and Installation of Steelwork Supports and Bracketry
- Stainless Steel Welding and Fabrication
- Steel Gantries, Walkways and Flooring Fabrication/Installation and Erection
- Valve & Penstock Refurbishment
- Plant & Equipment Installation
- Mechanical Plant Repair, Maintenance & Refurbishment
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
- Site measurement and Surveys
- Welding apprenticeship and/or demonstrable experience
- Recognised practical qualifications or relevant training.
- Water Industry Experience (preferable not essential)
- Experience of Workshop & Construction Site Environments
- Knowledge of Mechanical Installations

**Qualifications Required**
- Confined Space Trained
- IOSH Working Safely
- First Aid Appointed Persons
- PASMA Tower for Users
- DOMS/National Water Hygiene
- Abrasive Wheel Working at Height/Harness Manual Handling CSCS Card Slinger/Signalle

Hours of Work will be 40.5 hrs/per week as follows:
Monday-Thursday 08:00-1700

Friday - 08:00-15:00 (Friday overtime hrs are paid at 1.5 x Hourly Rate)
- **Please note that travelling time may be paid at the discretion of the Company on a Job Specific Basis**_

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £16.00-£19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.5 per week
