We are pleased to be working with one of Edinburgh’s premier transport companies. As the business continues to grow opportunities have arisen for experienced Operations Supervisor to join the team.

**Summary objective of your role**
Responsible for Supervising of all transportation matters within the Operations Department. This includes efficient organisation of drivers work schedules, ensuring legal requirements are met with vehicle compliance and drivers’ hours.

**Job duties and responsibilities**
- Assist in daily scheduling of vehicles & drivers- Responsible to communicate diversions/road closures to staff and customers- Maintain tachograph records, analysis, reporting and vehicle downloads- Telematics monitoring & reporting- Liaise with Operations & Workshop Managers to ensure smooth day to day running- Client liaison as required- Driver Induction- Standards reporting- Assist the Transport Manager to ensure compliance is met at all times- Associated driver accommodation and car hire bookings to client bookings- Support team with complaint investigation and outcome including CCTV management- Allocations of vehicles and drivers, including part time and casual staff- Update allocations to Coach Manager and DAR including daily changes, cross checking with other systems for accuracy including cross check of holidays, authorised absences-
- Allocation of coaches to cleaner/shunter- Liaise daily with workshop on defects/inspections/breakdowns- First line contact for drivers on welfare/health/general issues- Assist and give guidance on route planning- All other Operational & Administration tasks as required to support the Operations Manager- Occasional driving**The Operations Supervisor should strive to**
