**About our client**:
This private hospital in the town of Guildford, Surrey, is part of Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare; with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, they perform more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. They have an opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

**About the role**:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist working within our client's Imaging department at their private hospital, you will deliver a high-quality service, where you will:

- Actively participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Nuclear Medicine Department, providing a consistent, high quality service to all patients and visitors.
- Work in the department alongside the Nuclear Medicine Consultants in delivering a high standard of care to patients during Nuclear Medicine scans/procedures.
- Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
- Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
- Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge/skill and expertise.
- Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
- Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients, demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
- Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.

**About you**:
You will be a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with post graduate Nuclear Medicine Qualification or Radiographer with a postgraduate Nuclear Medicine qualification. You will have a minimum of **two years Nuclear Medicine experience, ideally within the UK.**

In addition, you will have:

- IT systems familiarity e.g. RIS / PACS.
- Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.
- Aware of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability.
- Knowledge of Radiation Regulations.
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence. Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
