**Administrator (Livestock and Poultry) | Newtown Powys | Full time Flexible & Hybrid potential | £10.42-£14.00 per hour**

Our client is a long-established veterinary practice in Powys with branches in Newtown, Llanidloes, Crossgates and Knighton that has served the local large and small animal community for over 100 years.

Across the four practices, there is a wealth of experience within the family of 60 staff, including 20 vets, who are always happy to offer their support and share their knowledge.

The team is proud to look after over 700 beef and sheep farms, a large number of commercial poultry and game farms, a select number of dairy farms, and lots of horses and ponies The practice also has a lot of lovely small animal clients who keep them busy in the surgeries with medical and surgical cases.

**Are you the right person for the job?**

**Essential**
- Proficient in the use of Outlook, Excel and Word is essential
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Being able to be accurate and proofread is essential
- Being able to maintain confidentiality is essential
- Be able to work to deadlines
- Able to work using your own initiative and as part of a team is essential

**Beneficial**
- Familiar with the beef and sheep/poultry sector would be beneficial
- A business administration qualification will be beneficial
- GCSE Maths and English at C (or equivalent) or above are preferred

**What will your role as an Administrator (Livestock and Poultry) look like?**
- Farm visits when required
- Assisting with care plans for poultry farms
- Assisting the teams with day-to-day administration and clerical tasks
- Preparing and submitting documents to clients and suppliers
- Maintaining databases, spreadsheets and filing systems for staff and company records
- General office/ stock management duties

**Salary**: £10.42-£14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newtown, SY16 1HA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
