Paintline Supervisor

**Metalis Engineering are currently recruiting for a leading manufacturer, with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation.**

**You will be working a regular morning shift: (6am-2pm, Monday to Friday)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of 6-8 paintline workers, ensuring that they are meeting their daily targets and maintaining the highest standards of quality
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that products are completed on time and to specification
- Act as a hands-on leader, willing to get involved in the paintline process where necessary
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Implement 5S and Lean principles to continuously improve the efficiency of the paintline process
- Train and develop paintline workers to ensure that they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Communicate effectively with other departments, including engineering, quality control, and procurement, to ensure that production targets are met

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a paintline or similar manufacturing environment
- Experience of working with sprayers and powder coaters
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- A hands-on approach to work, with a willingness to get stuck in where necessary
- Experience of implementing 5S and Lean principles to improve production efficiency
