Measuring and cutting various tiles
- Installing tiles in modular bathroom and ensuite PODS to the required standard
- Using basic hand tools.
- Using wet tile cutter
- Mixing adhesives
- Ensuring PODS are to the correct tolerances meeting standards and specifications.
- Strong manual dexterity
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/SOP’s.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team to achieve common goals.
- The ability to take a methodical and systematic approach to your work
- Effective communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation in relation to the process
- Report/escalate process issues through the appropriate channels
- Report/escalate quality issues through the appropriate channels
- Ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained at all times
- Maintain polite and good communication with colleagues at all times
- Any other task deemed reasonable by supervision/Management
- Basic mechanical understanding
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Minimum of 3 years tiling experience
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies
- Physically capable to handle and move various materials
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Working knowledge of health and safety practises
