**Sales and Counter Assistant - WHSmith - Didcot**

Contract Type: Permanent
Working hours: 19 hours per week worked over 5 days Monday to Sunday. We are closed on a Sunday

As a Sales and Counter Assistant you’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards as well as connecting people across miles and time with our Post Office services. You’ll work across our WHSmith and Post Office brands to ensure our customers, and our colleagues are proud to share their journeys with us.

**What being a Sales and Counter Assistant is all about**:

- Delivering an exceptional customer service to all customers.
- Carrying out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy and inviting for our customers to shop.
- Meeting high standards of display and visual merchandising helping customers find what they're looking for easily.
- Being part of a team and supporting colleagues.
- Managing queues and ensuring that customers can access the services they need quickly and simply.
- Meeting high standards of governance and attention to detail.
