Job description

Major Crime has an exciting opportunity to assist in developing and maintaining the Digital Strategy within an overall investigation strategy.

Are you interested in data and communication products and opportunities? Do you want to work with a wide variety of people, across a range of different investigations? Working with other officers and staff, prosecutors, analysts and SIO’s on a variety of cases, your work will be invaluable to progressing justice.

Along with this we are looking for a strong understanding of investigative and prosecution processes and how to prepare cases, as well as evidence for CPS and the Courts. Can you show experience in taking intelligence, from sensitive or protected sources of information and converting these into safe evidential opportunities that can be utilised?

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, positive, motivated, hardworking and flexible. This person should be capable of working independently with mínimal supervision and also as part of a large team. You will have a flair for both technology and investigations, being innovative and forward thinking, relishing the challenge of taking up this role within policing.
