**Location**: Cirencester Office

**Employment Type**: 9 month Fixed-Term Contract

This person will support the Divisional Director - Treasury & Finance Operations - and lead on Treasury management for the SJP Group. This role would suit a commercial and capable Treasury professional with strong Treasury Management System experience and a successful track record within Treasury/Risk Management. This is initially a 9-month interim role.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Manage the Group’s Treasury activities, in line with Group risk appetite, risk policies, and procedures to include:

- daily cash position, cashflow monitoring and forecasting.
- shareholder cash balance investment.
- Liquidity, credit and counterparty monitoring and management.
- Inputs to financial reporting.
- Treasury Management System (Kyriba).
- Manage the Group's Liquidity, Credit and Foreign Exchange Risk policies.
- Lead the Group's technical Treasury Risk Management expertise and development.
- Lead the Counterparty Financial Risk Review process on behalf of Third-Party Product Review Group, CASS Steering Group and the Group’s Treasury Committee.
- Treasury Team management (currently two professionals).
- Member of the Group’s Treasury Committee and provision of support to appropriate specialist committees: Audit Committee and Risk Committee, Finance Oversight Group, CASS Steering Group, Finance Governance Group, and Investment Risk Committee.

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Extensive knowledge/experience of treasury risk management: including frameworks, management of policies and implementation.
- Broad and deep knowledge/experience of Cash Management/reporting.
- Knowledge of Basel III, MiFiD II and Money Market Fund reform regulation and latest Treasury professional standards
- Experienced in using Bloomberg, Reuters and Banking Platforms and Money Market fund reporting tools.
- Ideally expert In Kyriba Treasury Management System
- Strong and broad industry knowledge (banking, liquidity markets and payments products and services).
- Knowledge of banking industry is required to manage banking relationships and operations.
- Direct management responsibility for a team (currently 2) and indirect responsibility for a wider finance team.
- Broad understanding of key SJP Group companies and cash movement between them, plus deep understanding of how free shareholder cash is generated.
- Knowledge of the role of Third-Party Administrators is required to manage Operational Banking Cash Management and Governance across the group.
- Strong problem-solving abilities required.
- Able to analyse and understand complex cash management issues and requirements.
- Professional and adaptable interpersonal skills - able to communicate sensitive and complex information in a concise manner appropriate to different audiences.

**Special Requirements**:

- Qualified Accountant with extensive relevant experience
- At least part qualified member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers with relevant experience.
