**Brook Street (UK) Ltd are recruiting Public Sector Senior Helpdesk Operator on behalf of our leading Public Sector client based in Armagh.**

As**_ Senior Helpdesk Operator_**_ _you will perform effective administrative duties for the daily functional and operational staff within the ICT Support Department You will be responsible for the deployment of EA devices e.g., laptops, desktops, and tablets to EA corporate staff. You will Setup and issue windows devices to staff, following a procedure that includes bulk imaging, putting on any additional required software not included in the standard build and deployment to users, including all recording.

**SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST**:

- Setup and issue of computers to staff, following a procedure that includes bulk imaging
- Putting on any additional required software and deployment to users, including recording. Setup and issue of computers for new staff as required or issue of replacement computers.
- Assist with setup and issue of apple devices to staff and services including all recording
- Assist with deliveries of goods in.
- Assist with deliveries of goods onto site.
- Supporting users and computers operating in a network environment. Assist with relocation of computer systems as required between offices e.g., preparing deliveries of stock for transit.
- Assist with the setup of computers across multiple sites as required.
- Assist with the implementation of the Asset Management System and maintaining asset records.
- Update and maintain user and computer accounts on Active Directory.
- Identify and organise re-deployable computers within EA, for disposal scheme, or defunct computers for secure scrappage.
- Update and maintain user and computer accounts on Active Directory as well as
- Maintain records associated with assets management. Log IT Service desk calls from users, assist with resolution where possible or assign & escalate to the most suitable IT officer.
- Supporting users and computers operating in a network environment.
- Assist with the design, review and update of IT Support Service procedures and forms
- Liaise with external maintenance contractors when required.
- To carry out any required daily administration duties.
- Any other duties as required by the ICT Support Service.

**TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
- An ICT related BTEC or Equivalent
- Experience of using standard MSOffice/MS365 suite e.g., Word, Excel
- Experience of using Windows 10 in a work environment.
- Experience of setting up and supporting computers and peripherals in a work environment.
- Experience supporting networked computers and peripheral in a work environment.
- Excellent IT problem solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills and be customer focused.
- Use of a vehicle (to visit sites and work in other ICT offices across EA as and when required.)
- Able to carry equipment e.g., computers, monitors, small printers etc
- Willingness to learn. Able to follow procedures & instructions and complete tasks to timescale
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Good time keeping and attendance
- Must complete an Enhanced AccessNI during the onboarding period with Brook Street UK LTD
