We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children in our nursery. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young children.

**Duties**:

- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and activities
- Assist with feeding,, and other basic care needs
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery
- Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns to the Supervisor
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through positive interactions

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities simultaneously

Please note that this position will require completion of a background check and reference checks.

**Salary**: £9.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

- Driving Licence (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Ballynahinch (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Ballynahinch: Relocate before starting work (required)
