**The Opportunity**:
The working group behind the Feedback Project grew out of a workshop on amplifying the student voice at the University’s Learning and Teaching Conference in 2021, and has already completed one successful iteration of our PTAS project in which we ran focus groups with staff and students across the university gathering data on their attitudes to the student voice. We are now getting together initial ideas about how to better support and amplify the student voice based on this data. This project will focus on workshoping these ideas with staff and students to create a toolkit of student voice techniques which can be deployed across the university, and then running pilot projects in which their use in large class teaching in different schools is evaluated, and an improved toolkit is creating. This will then be turned into professional-standard materials and will be made available to all teaching staff in the university.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:
Essential:

- The postholder will be a current second, third, or penultimate-year University of Edinburgh studen
- Good organisational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Understanding of the basic principles of teaching, learning, and assessment
- Experience of self-management and working to tight deadlines
- Passion for improving the student experience in teaching and learning Commitment to raising the voice of traditionally hard-to-reach student groups

Desirable:

- Teamworking and information analysis skills
- Experience of organising focus groups or other consultation methods Familiarity with current student feedback mechanisms in the University
