We are a reputable, well known, established and expanding FMCG company based in Middlesex. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced forklift driver to work in and around our busy warehouse.
**Main Duties**:
- Unload delivery vehicles. For this purpose, up to date counterbalance and reach truck licences must be maintained.
- Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, ensure all goods delivered to the warehouse are routinely checked to verify that the quantity received matches the delivery documentation.
- To note the delivery documentation with any discrepancies, damages and quality issues, ensuring that only goods fit for purpose are receipted.
- Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, ensure goods received are transferred to their designated storage areas and stowed in a manner which facilitates good stock rotation and stock is indeed rotated.
- Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, ensure stocks are stored in a safe manner with due regard to racking loads and evacuation routes.
- Check the documentation for the load is accurate and complete.
- Ensure that the designated load is delivered to the correct delivery point.
- Obtain proof of delivery and return same to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Adhere to delivery site rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure goods collected are checked and verified to the documentation. Any discrepancies/damages to be noted before signature.
- Return the goods to the factory and deliver to the appropriate area.
- To ensure that the FLT daily check sheet is carried out.
**Requirements, Experience and Person Specification**:
- Group and site induction.
- Level 2 H&S awareness.
- Understanding of relevant risk assessments and safe working procedures.
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- Great awareness of basic food hygiene / health and safety principles.
- Ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn
- Always conduct themselves in a responsible and courteous manner
- Co-operative, enthusiastic, and orderly approach
- Good level of efficiency, courtesy and communication skills.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £14.00 per hour
