**At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose to improve people’s lives.**

**Contract type**: Seasonal, Fixed term until 31st October 2024

**Hours**: 24 hours (4 days) per week, including working alternate weekends and some late nights**.**
We have a vacancy at the Roman Baths for a seasonal Museum Porter to join award-winning Front of House team this Summer. The Roman Baths welcomes around 1 million visitors each year, and we are passionate about providing engaging experiences for everyone, creating memories which will last a lifetime.

This is an ideal opportunity to join our team, working in a busy, enjoyable, unique and historical environment.

Duties include collecting and transporting audio guides from the museum exit to the main reception and responding to visitor’s queries, such as helping them with directions.

Applicants must have a good general education, with a high standard of personal presentation, a friendly manner as well as good customer care and communication skills. Experience of manual handling would be an advantage.

Full training and a uniform will be provided.

Starting date June 2024.
