**Purpose and Key responsibilities**
- Responsible for the operation of the AOI machines.
- PCBA inspection.
- Identify and classify PCBA assembly issues.
- Capable of first off inspections.
- Capable of polarity checks using PCB drawings.
- Working within the surface mount team to ensure high quality and productivity.

**Essential skills**:

- Previous experience of working in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of SMT components.
- Previous experience of inspecting SMT PCB assemblies.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 requirements.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

**Recommended Technical Experience and Qualifications**
- IPC 610 CIS certified.
- Previous experience using Mirtec and CyberOptics AOI machines and software.
- Previous experience of using MS Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Previous experience of reworking SMT PCB assemblies.
- Previous experience of using an SMT rework station.
- Previous experience of working with Aegis (MES.)
- Qualification in Electronics.
