EYFS Teaching Assistant required for a long term opportunity in Ellesmere Port
We are supporting a primary school in Ellesmere port to recruit an experienced EYFS TA to work with a child on a 1:1 basis. The school is easily accessible from South Wirral.
**Your new company**
Your new school is one form Entry "Ofsted Good" school located in West Cheshire. You will join an experienced, friendly and welcoming team who pride themselves on creating a safe and engaging environment for children to achieve their best
**Your new role**
You will be working alongside an experienced EYFS class teacher and supporting with groups of children and on a 1-1 basis with pupils with SEN needs in an EYFS setting. You may be required to take interventions with pupils to help bridge and support their learning.You will also be working within the Early Years Development framework and behavioural management methods in line with school policies. You will be given CPD training in line with the school calendar and be involved in the duty roster for the academic year.It is desirable that you have experience of working within SEN provision and Speech and Language Early Years development
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to work 1:1 with pupils in a classroom setting.
- Strong commutation skills.
- Work constructively as part of a team.
- Ability to work alongside children with SEN / behavioural needs.
- Be fun, approachable, and energetic.
- Understand the EYFS curriculum.
