Kitchen Assistant

At HCC-Temps, we supply all grades of staff to the healthcare sector ranging from healthcare assistants, support workers, registered nurses, chefs, kitchen assistants, and catering assistants in various hospitals and care home locations across the UK.

**What we’re looking for**:
**What you’ll do**:
× Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic

× Preparing food ingredients and simple foods

× Sorting, collecting, and washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately

× Using and cleaning cooking equipment, utensils, appliances, surfaces, etc. ensuring the workspace is tidy and orderly

× Reviewing and organising the inventory

**Who are you?**

× Someone with 6 months+ experience in a similar position

× Available to work asap

× Comfortable and easy to adapt to new and busy workspaces

x Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (preferred)

× Checking use-by dates and rotating food storage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bathford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- DBS (preferred)
