Barista/all Rounder

We are on the look out for a barista, all rounder to help run our outside café/licensed bar operation located in a superyacht marina in Lymington, Hants from March 2024.

The location is best described as a holiday destination environment with views to die for as your office

This is a hands on role, overall job responsibilities include;
Coffee is your passion

Continuing to build the great relationship with our Berth-holders & visiting guests

Bar experience is handy to have but training will be given if needed

General Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and alcoholic drinks
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Assist with food preparation as needed

Background/Experience
- Previous barista experience in a similar role is preferred
- Events experience roles previously are a big plus

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service. You will also assist with food preparation and ensure that the coffee bar area is clean and organised. Time management skills are essential in order to handle multiple orders efficiently. Food safety knowledge is important to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Lymington (required)
