We are seeking a laundry attendant to support the functions of our establishment which is a small but busy self (coin-op) and full-service launderette. The responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, pressing (using a professional roller iron and steam flat iron), and folding clothes and other têxtile articles. It is very “hands on”. Apart from that we have to assist people using the coin op facilities.

The successful applicant will be a mature and reliable person who enjoys interacting with people and demonstrates good organizational / interpersonal skills and who will be confident to work solo for some of the time. Working days are Thursday, Friday - usually from 8 to 4.30 but this may vary - and Saturday mornings 9 - 12.

Prior experience in a similar role is preferable as is familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment. We would like to hire as soon as possible.

Part-time hours: 20-25 per week
