We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our Community Physiotherapy and Occupational Team.
Your main role will be to assist therapy staff in delivering rehabilitation programmes to people in their own homes or in a clinic/gym setting.
We see a broad range of patients, but they are mostly older people with reduced mobility and function following illness or injury. We also see people with long term health conditions and neurological problems.
You will be based in a large health centre and have close working relationships with nursing, social prescribing, social care, and older persons mental health colleagues.
You must have good communication skills and be able to work as team player. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience of working with elderly or disabled people or working in exercise and fitness.
