Dog Grooming Assistant

Responsibilities:
Washing and Drying Dogs:

- Perform bathing and drying of dogs using appropriate grooming techniques and products.
- Handle dogs with care, ensuring their safety and comfort during the grooming process.

Dog Care:

- Provide general care for dogs, including exercising and monitoring their well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs in the grooming area.

Cleaning:

- Ensure the grooming area and equipment are kept clean and sanitized.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a tidy workspace.

Customer Service:

- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Provide guidance on grooming services and recommend appropriate grooming styles or treatments.

Health and Safety:

- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe environment for both dogs and staff.
- Identify and report any potential risks or hazards promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in dog grooming is preferred but not essential. Training may be provided.
- Genuine passion for working with dogs and a good understanding of their behavior and needs.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments in a calm and gentle manner.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented approach.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £7.31-£10.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
