Finaical Controller

Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting a Financial Controller for a great Manufacturing business based in Birmingham. This role will see you play a crucial role in a fantastic finance team

Main duties of this Financial Controller role include:

- Ensure that the function of the management accounts are managed and further developed and to provide a continuous drive for improvement throughout the company
- Act as a leader for the finance department and ensure each individual is clear on their role, key deliverables and there own personal objectives
- Ensure that KPIs are developed and maintained to the business strategy.
- Detail both operational and financial KPIs at a board level
- Ensure that management accounts are both prepared and reported on a monthly basis
- Complete all bank reconciliations and see to any month end actions in good time
- Provide the board and PE investors with a presentation of financial results whilst supporting the CEO and disputing where necessary
- Supervise and support in the development of the financial and operational control environment whilst also making sure that mínimal control standard, documentation and systems are in place
- Ensure that precise forecasting and reporting of balance sheets are being delivered
- Make and maintain strong working relationships so that solid business partnering is in place
- Ensure that precise insight and forecasting is in place for non-financial individuals with the intention to further improve financial and operational performance
- Act as a key point of contact when liaising with other companies advisors
- Make sure financial statement are signed off in time
- Manage everyday treasury activities
- Prepare and submit VAT
