Are you a keen copywriter with experience in PR, or perhaps a passion to get into a press office team?

Reed Marketing and Creative are looking for a Press Officer who is keen to be part of an organisation that are making a difference. We are partnered with a global charity who are working towards being known as thought leaders. As Press Officer you will playa pivotal role in delivering their strategic objective, by means of increased press coverage.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the wider press team to devise an external media programme, providing more instant and accessible materials for online and traditional media consumption.
- To act as principal point of contact for UK media relations
- Provide copy and other materials for digital media platforms and publications e.g. Website
- To help support the advocacy objectives of the charity through media outreach.
- Implement and improve media monitoring programme

**Your experience**:

- Significant and demonstrable experience of writing copy - both online and hard copy
- Experience of networking and liaising with stakeholders at all levels
- Ideally experience of, or an interest in the charity sector
